Skål International Argentina National Assembly held in La Plata

The Skål International Argentina National Assembly was successfully held in the city of La Plata, Province of Buenos Aires, bringing together members from across the country in a spirit of collaboration and fellowship.

The event was especially honored by the presence of distinguished international Skål representatives, including World President Andrés Hayes, Region 4 Director Ian Gillespie, and Latin America Area Committee President Mario Costa. 

The Assembly welcomed a strong presence of Skål Argentina members, who had the opportunity to share meaningful and memorable experiences throughout the program. Activities included city tours showcasing La Plata’s cultural heritage, as well as networking opportunities during organized lunches, dinners, and a traditional toast that celebrated friendship and professional unity.

Also, within the framework of the Assembly, it was proudly announced that the reopening of the Mendoza Club has been confirmed. This important milestone was further highlighted by the participation of its future President, reflecting a renewed commitment to growth and expansion within the organization.

A key highlight of the Assembly was the renewal of the National Committee authorities for the 2026–2028 term. During this process, Sebastián Salvia was re-elected as President, reaffirming the confidence of the membership in his leadership. He will continue guiding the institution with a commitment to growth, collaboration, and excellence within the tourism sector.

The new National Committee was constituted as follows:

  • President: Sebastián Salvia

  • Vice President: Norberto Verde

  • Secretary: Soledad Klinger

  • Treasurer: Eduardo Mayer

  • Board Members: Iasmin Abdulhadi, Ricardo Ayllon, Agustín Mangano

This successful gathering not only reinforced Skål Argentina’s mission but also strengthened the bonds among its members and international partners, fostering a shared vision for the future of global tourism.
