STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY REGARDING THE USE OF IMAGES AND AUDIOVISUAL MATERIAL

The participating Club declares that it is responsible for the content of the video and other audiovisual materials submitted for its entry in the Club of the Year Award organised by Skål International.

It further declares that the images, recordings and testimonials included in said material have been obtained in accordance with the applicable regulations in its country or jurisdiction and with due respect for the privacy and image rights of the individuals appearing therein.

The Club undertakes to act with due diligence during the preparation of the video, ensuring that:

• Informing members, partners and attendees when recordings are being made for the Club of the Year Award entry.

• Prioritise the participation of people who volunteer to appear in the video, particularly in interviews, statements or prominent appearances.

• Avoid including people who have expressed a wish not to appear in the recordings.

• Review the content before submission to ensure it is suitable for public dissemination.

• Cooperate with Skål International should any person request the removal, modification or restriction of the dissemination of images in which they appear in an identifiable manner.

The Club guarantees that it holds the necessary authorisations, permissions or legal grounds for the use and dissemination of the images and testimonials included in the submitted material, particularly with regard to those individuals who appear individually or play a prominent role.

The Club guarantees that the individuals appearing in the video have been informed that this material will be sent to Skål International for publication on the website www.skal.org and on the association’s official social media profiles.

Images of the atmosphere, meetings, events, social activities or group photographs may be included in the video when they form a normal part of the Club’s activities and have been obtained lawfully and with due regard for the rights of the individuals concerned.

Each Club shall be responsible for complying with the applicable legislation in its jurisdiction. In countries where specific authorisations are required for the recording or dissemination of images of identifiable individuals, the Club undertakes to obtain and retain such authorisations under its sole responsibility.
